Old-style Scoreboard

boccelism, It's a blast. This 20th-century style manual scoreboard harks back to the early days of boccelism. No hunting for electrical outlets and extension cords with one of these. Each scoreboard is a hand-crafted original, with "accidental" imperfections designed to bring back memories of the old ball yard around the bend of a country road. The board comes with a full set of number cards; the scoreboard easel-stand is optional.

Amy Wallace proved herself the Queen of Finesse at the Mid-May Toss on May 15th. In the first Regular Season case of her career, she registered eight rollups and three stays, the 11 bonus points putting her in a tie for third for most bonus points scored in a single case in Modern Boccelism history. The record-book effort contributed to a 35-19 victory over fellow rookie Kevin Riordan.

Foot Fault

A tossing violation caused by a player touching the ground beyond the fault line before releasing the ball. Judges sometimes issue a warning before calling a fault; when a fault is called it voids the result of the toss.
