The Edgewood-Kirkwood, Atlanta Chapter (ABA South Region) is holding it's 2008 Opening Day Celebration Event on Saturday, April 19th. Taking place at the Ancient & Overgrown Tossing Grounds on Vannoy St. in Atlanta, the event is open to the public, with players and guests encouraged to bring food and beverages to contribute to the festivities.

Frank Schultz survived a shaky first round match and continued on to win the 3rd Annual Jeff Gates Memorial Tournament on August 7th. Frank put on a bucket-rattling display in the final, defeating newcomer George Coe 50-23.
