Come out this Sunday, November 16th, to Gates Field, 100 Montgomery St. Atlanta for the Edgewood-Kirkwood, Atlanta Chapter's 2008 Championship Tournament. Bracket play to contest the Lamar Cup is scheduled to begin at 1 pm.

Below are the seeds and alternate list for the Chapter Championship Tournament:

Wilkins; #6 - Angus Guberman; #7 - Tom Durrett; #8 - Allison Lange.

Alternates
1st - Gus Glaw; 2nd - Todd Leopold; 3rd - Patrick Mitchell; 4th - Mark Mercer; 5th - Dave
Altherr; 6th - Chuck Tallent; 7th - Clark Numba Eight; 8th - Andrew Priest; 9th -
Kathleen Turaski; 10th - Darren Carroll; 11th - Leslie Cunningham; 12th - Pete Hornsby;
13th - Brian Schechterle.

The provisional bracket features the following matchups:

1) Schultz v. 8) Lange
2) S. Priest v. 7) Durrett
3) Batson v. 6) Guberman
4) Pecchio v. 5) Wilkins

Should any seeded player withdraw or fail to appear, the bracket will be adjusted, with the top alternate(s) filling the vacancies, or first round byes awarded in the absence of a challenge.

After the conclusion of the tournament, the courts at Gates Field will be open for friendly challenge tossing until dusk.

Frank Schultz survived a shaky first round match and continued on to win the 3rd Annual Jeff Gates Memorial Tournament on August 7th. Frank put on a bucket-rattling display in the final, defeating newcomer George Coe 50-23.
